English is one of the difficult subject that i have learned. Although it is difficult subject i still need to learn it because all subjects that i studying now is in English. So, no matter how hard or difficult this subject is i must try my best to master in this subject. I am not an excellent student in this subject but English is my favourite subject compared to the other subjects. English is divided into four skills which is speaking, writing, reading, and listening. To be excellent student in this subject i need to master in all skills in English and i have put my rigorous effort to master this subject in all skills.
To improve my English in reading, i have tried a few ways like try to read at the right level. I read something that i can understand. If i read something that difficult and need to stop every three words to look in the dictionary, it will discouraged me to continue my reading. Besides, i also make a note of new vocabulary. If there are four or five new words on a page, i will write them in my vocabulary book. But i don't write them while i read. Instead, i try to guess their meaning as i read. I will mark them with a pen, then come back when i have finished reading to check in a dictionary and add them to my vocabulary book. I also try to read regularly and read something that make me interest.
In listening, i was listened to English songs regularly and watch English movies with different ascents. By this way i can make myself adapted to others ascents in English quickly. Besides that, i also served the websites that you gave to us to listen to the native speakers and answers the questions in it to measure my understanding.
Read short stories out loud and try to see, say and hear the words to reinforce my memory. I also record myself and play it back later and hear how does it sound. Besides, i talk to friends who are also learning English and only speak English to each other. This are my effort to improve my English in speaking.
After put all efforts in reading, speaking and listening indirectly i have put my efforts to improve my writing. This is because all these three skills connected to writing skills like read English article regularly, listen to the English songs, speak in English with friends and others.
I hope with all this efforts, i will be excellent students in this subject.

My Eid Experience
2007 0r this year eid celebration has brought different experienced for me because it is differ from my previous eid celebration. Before this, i will come home a week before the eid and can do many preparation to celebrate eid like went shopping. I will buy my new clothes, shoes, and others on my own. I also made kuih raya and has a lot of time to break the fast with my family. However, this year is totally different because i only came ome two day before the eid. I does not have opportunity to buy my new clothes and stuffs on my own for the eid. We also did not made any kuih raya this year because everybody was busy with their work and we just buy it. My mother also not have enough time to sew our clothes because need to take care of my fourth brother at hospital. He has broke his leg in accident five months ago but need to be operated again two weeks before the eid because his leg was affected. We are very lucky because no need to celebrate the eid at the hospital. The celebration this year also not happening like before because my second brother was sailed to Vietnem. Beside that, my third brother also need to go work at the morning of the eid.
During the first day of the eid, just like another families we went o mosque to perform eid prayer. After that we went home and guests came to our house. In the morning we did not went anywhere because many guests came to our house and the number of guests this year was increased. Besides kuih raya, we also served lemang, sate, nasi minyak and others. Only in the afternoon, i got the opportunity to go to my neighbours and my friends house. Although at the night, the guests still come to our house to celebrate the eid besides to visit my sicked brother and the situation still same until i came back to UNITEN....

DNA sample
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid that contains the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms. The main role of DNA molecules is the long-term storage of information and DNA is often compared to a set of blueprints, since it contains the instructions needed to construct other components of cells, such as proteins and RNA molecules. The DNA segments that carry this genetic information are called genes, but other DNA sequences have structural purposes, or are involved in regulating the use of this genetic information.
Chemically, DNA is a long polymer of simple units called nucleotides, with a backbone made of sugars and phosphate groups joined by ester bonds. Attached to each sugar is one of four types of molecules called bases. It is the sequence of these four bases along the backbone that encodes information. This information is read using the genetic code, which specifies the sequence of the amino acids within proteins. The code is read by copying stretches of DNA into the related nucleic acid RNA, in a process called transcription. Most of these RNA molecules are used to synthesize proteins, but others are used directly in structures such as ribosomes and spliceosomes.
Within cells, DNA is organized into structures called chromosomes and the set of chromosomes within a cell make up a genome. These chromosomes are duplicated before cells divide, in a process called DNA replication. Eukaryotic organisms such as animals, plants, and fungi store their DNA inside the cell nucleus, while in prokaryotes such as bacteria it is found in the cell's cytoplasm. Within the chromosomes, chromatin proteins such as histones compact and organize DNA, which helps control its interactions with other proteins and thereby control which genes are transcribed.

Season
A season is one of the major divisions of the year, generally based on yearly periodic changes in weather. In temperate and polar regions generally four seasons are recognized: spring, summer, autumn (fall), and winter. In some tropical and subtropical regions it is more common to speak of the rainy (or wet, or monsoon) season versus the dry season, as the amount of precipitation may vary more dramatically than the average temperature. In other tropical areas a three-way division into hot, rainy and cool season is used. In some parts of the world, special "seasons" are loosely defined based upon important events such as a hurricane season, tornado season or a wildfire season.
The seasons result from the Earth's axis being tilted to its orbital plane; it deviates by an angle of approximately 23.5 degrees. Thus, at any given time during summer or winter, one part of the planet is more directly exposed to the rays of the Sun. This exposure alternates as the Earth revolves in its orbit. At any given time, regardless of season, the northern and southern hemispheres experience opposite seasons. Seasonal weather fluctuations also depend on factors such as proximity to oceans or other large bodies of water, currents in those oceans, El Nino/ENSO and other oceanic cycles, and prevailing winds.

Astronaut
An astronaut or cosmonaut is a person trained by a human spaceflight program to command, pilot, or serve as a crew member of a spacecraft. While generally reserved for professional space travelers, the term is sometimes applied to anyone who travels into space, including scientists, politicians, journalists, and tourists.
The first human in space was Russian Yuri Gagarin, who was launched into space on April 12, 1961 aboard Vostok 1. The first woman was Russian Valentina Tereshkova, launched into space in June 1963 aboard Vostok 6.Alan Shepard became the first American and second person in space on May 5, 1961, while the first American woman in space was Sally Ride, during Spac Shuttle Challenger's mission STS-7, on June 18, 1983. The youngest person to fly in space is Russian Gherman Titov, who was 25 years old when he flew Vostok 2. (Titov was also the first person to suffer space sickness). The oldest person who has flown in space is John Glenn, who was 77 when he flew on STS-95. The longest stay in space was 438 days, by Russian Valeri Polyakov. As of 2006, the most spaceflights by an individual astronaut is seven, a record held by both Jerry L. Ross and Franklin Chang-Diaz. The furthest distance from Earth an astronaut has traveled was 401,056 km, during the Apollo 13 emergency. Now our country also has sent our first astronaut Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar B. Dato’ Sheikh Mustapha Shukor to ISS by Soyuz through Russia.

Newspapers
A lot of people read newspapers when they are travelling to and from work. It's good to have some thing to read on the train or the bus, and newspapers are easy to carry around with you. Newspapers don't just tell the news, they also contain a lot of other interesting information, such as films and music reviews, and gossip about famous people.
At the weekend, the papers have lots of different sections, for example about new ways to decorate your house, ideas for holidays, or new recipes. Many people like to read the papers while they are having breakfast in the morning.
For many people, especially young people, their main source of news now the Internet. They can read about the latest news online as soon as it happens. They can also visit their favourite websites to look for other stories that might interest them. If they want they can also get the news from the television or the radio. In many ways it is surprising that newspapers are still so popular.
Nobody knows what will happen to newspapers in the future, but for the moment they are very much still part of our lives.

Mind mapping
Mind mapping is one of the most important thing in learning.....It is about 75% of students identify themselves as visual learner....So visual mapping or mind mapping is an excellent learning tool...Mind mapping is mapping the chapter as we preview it provides a visual guide to how different chapter ideas fit together...While we are previewing,we use either branching or a wheel structure...In the wheel structure,we place the central ideas at the center in the circle and the central ideas can be the title or introduction to the chapter...The other ideas are place on the spokes emanating from the circle...In the branching map,the main idea goes at the top and followed by following ideas on the second tier and so on...For a better mind mapping we can use different colour of pen while making the mind mapping...
